FlatOut 3 udvikler Team6 Game Studios arbejder på tre nye spil til Nintendo 3DS.
Studiet havde oprindeligt planlagt at udgive mindst et 3DS spil nær den håndholdte konsols release, men de planer blev ændret da spillets udgiver fik kolde fødder.
Ronnie Nelis fra Team6 udtaler:

Han udtalte også yderligere sig omkring 3DS:
"Luckily we had other clients and projects for other platforms to fall back on, but we never forgot about 3DS and its possibilities. Only as from the beginning of this month, a lot of both old and new clients realise that the Nintendo 3DS has become really hot in terms of sales.
Et af de omtalte 3DS spil fra Team6 vil være en efterfølget til deres Monstertrucks Mayhem som er udkommet til Wii.
"Our goal is to make the new 3DS games as good looking and even more fun to play as our Nintendo Wii games, It's no surprise that the majority of loyal Team6 fans are also fans of the Nintendo platforms, so I know they will enjoy our new games for 3DS too"
Udtaler Nelis følgende og forsikrer derefter fans af deres spil om at de stadig vil fortsætte med at udvikle spil til Wii'en samtidig med deres 3DS spil.
